“Hear. Act. Judge.”

July 3, 2020

“Hear. Act. Judge.”

Blessings folk!

Solomon continues to pray.

Remember what he had said…

2 Ch 6:21
“Listen to the supplications of Your servant and of Your people Israel
when they pray toward this place;
hear from Your dwelling place, from heaven;
hear and forgive.

Listen.
Hear.
Forgive.

He then speaks of examples…

 2 Ch 6:22-23
“If a man sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath,
and he comes and takes an oath before Your altar in this house,

then hear from heaven and act and judge Your servants,
punishing the wicked by bringing his way on his own head and justifying the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness.

Hear…from heaven.
Act.
Judge…Your servants.

Solomon is asking the Lord to “act and judge Your servants” in matters of sin.
When the people come to “Your altar in this house”, may the Lord determine.

Punishment for the wicked.
Justifying the righteous.
Each receiving that which is due.

Forgot not.
The Lord hears.
The Lord acts.
The Lord judges.
