“Zeal That Stirs”

Blessings folk!

Giving!
Are you beginning to see the truths in the Word related to “giving”?
Are you beginning to feel some freedom and liberty?
Are you beginning to see some of the man-made shenanigans of the past…present?

But wait!
There is more!

2 Co 9:1-2

Now it is superfluous for me to write to you about the ministry for the saints,

for I know your readiness, of which I boast about you to the people of Macedonia, saying that Achaia has been ready since last year. And your zeal has stirred up most of them.

Paul says that there is no reason to say it…but he will say it anyway…they had a readiness to “minister to the saints”…helping the Believers in Jerusalem.

Paul had boasted to the Believers in Macedonia about the Corinthians.

They had made a promise a year earlier.
They were following through with the promise…Paul hoped.

Paul then acknowledges their zeal.
Zeal to help.
Zeal to give.

Their zeal to give had stirred other portions of the Body of Christ as Paul shared.

How should we give?
- with zeal
- with planning
- sharing the zeal with OneAnother as a source of encouragement and exhortation

By now we likely are wondering.
What would the Body of Christ “look like” if we really gave in the manner of the Word?

I suspect that our resources would be redeemed.
Time would be redeemed.
The Lord would exponentially expand His Body.
