“Family”

Family.

Everyone has one.

They can be a challenge at times...as can we.

Jesus was “challenged” occasionally by His family.
Some of His family did not “believe”...at least until after His death.

Mary did believe.

In this portion of the Word we see that Jesus’ family was seeking Him out.
They wanted to see Him.
Another portion of the Word tells us that they were concerned for Him.

Due to the crowd, His family could not get through.
Word came to Jesus that His family wanted to see Him.

Jesus seized the moment to communicate a profound truth.

His “family” are those who…

• hear the Word of God and do it
• does the will of God

He was not speaking negatively of His earthly family.
He was speaking of the True Family of the Kingdom.

Are you in the Family?
Do you do the will of Father?
