Matthew 14:1-2
Mark 6:14-16
Luke 9:7-9

It is a simple series of questions.
Have you heard the news about Jesus?
Who do you say that He is?
What do you believe?
Herod heard about Jesus.
Herod assumed it was John the Baptist raised from the dead.
Herod was terrified and perplexed. He had beheaded John.
Herod thought that being raised from the dead would release miraculous powers.
Herod wondered and kept trying to see Jesus.
The People thought along several lines.
Some thought Jesus was John the Baptist raised from the dead and performing miracles.
Others said Jesus was Elijah - like one of the prophets of old.
Who do you say Jesus is?
What are you doing?
