John 14:12
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also;
and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.

Let us take these statement…promises…one at a time.
Think on them.
Meditate on them.

Jesus says “truly, truly”…listen to Me…hear Me…this is the Truth.

The one who believes in Jesus will do the works that Jesus does.

We will preach the Kingdom.
We will preach the gospel.
We will do all that Jesus did…
- feed the hungry
- heal the sick
- cast out demons
- raise the dead
- proclaim freedom and liberty
- etc.
We will do what He instructs…now!

But, there is more.

We will do greater works!
What?

This likely refers to the sheer amount…the number of Believers, the geographic location of Believers throughout the world.

How can we do such?
Why do we do such?
Because Jesus goes to the Father.

Are we doing the works of the Lord?
Or, are we doing the works of man/flesh “in the name of the Lord’?
