“Jannes and Jambres”

Blessings folk!

We are now experiencing the men of the last days.
Yet, it will become worse.

These men will oppose the truth.
Such is today.
In the world.
In the organizational “church”.

These men are of depraved mind.
They will seek their own mind.
They will not seek the mind of the Lord...even as they do things “in the name of the Lord.”

These men are rejected in regard to the faith.
We saw that they have a form of godliness, yet deny the power thereof.
I believe that this speaks of a form of Christian faith, not an overtly pagan religion.
They “believe”, yet they deny the power of True Faith.
They are not True Believers.

These men will be revealed as folly...in time.
They will not make further progress.
Their foolish, fraudulent, folly-of-a-faith will be exposed as powerless manipulation of man empowered by the evil one.

We are given an example.
The Old Testament does not give us the names of the participants.
The New Testament does.

2 Timothy 3:8-9
8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith.
9 But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes’s and Jambres’s folly was also.

Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses.
They opposed the Lord God.

Be not as they were.
