“Take Nothing…”
Blessings folk!
Jesus now began to send forth folk…
They were to enter into a house and stay there.
Not move from one to another.
If they were not received by any place, then they were to shake the dust from their shoes.
Such would testify against them.
The Lord would provide basic sustenance.
The Lord would provide the Words.
The Lord would bring salvation and judgment.
Their…our!…role is to faithfully proclaim the Kingdom.

Mar 6:7-11
And He summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs,
and gave them authority over the unclean spirits;
and He instructed them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a mere staff
—no bread, no bag, no money in their belt—
but to wear sandals; and He added, “Do not put on two tunics.”
And He said to them, “Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave town.
“Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there,
shake the dust off the soles of your feet for a testimony against them.”
Jesus instructed them.
They were to go out in pairs, two by two.
They were to travel light, only a staff.
They were to not take any…
- bread
- bag
- money
- extra tunic
