“While We Were Yet Sinners…”

Blessings folk!

God’s grace toward us is without end.

Remember, grace is giving that which is not deserved.
In this case, salvation from sins.
Reconciliation with Father

Mercy is not giving us what we deserve.
Punishment for our sins.
Eternal separation from Father.
The Lake of Fire.

Romans 5 shows us much about God’s grace toward us…we continue…

Rom 5:6-8
For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God’s grace provides salvation to those who believe.

This salvation was provided through the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

While we were still helpless…in sin…
At the right time…not a moment earlier/later…
Christ died…for the ungodly, the helpless…
This is the ultimate demonstration of God’s love toward us…

That, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

The grace of God.
Live it.
Rejoice in it.
