“Peace I Leave With You…”

Blessings folk!

Jesus is coming to an end of His corporeal time on earth.
He is coming to the end of His time, in this manner, with the disciples.

Give heed to His Word…

John 14:27-28

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.
Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful
.

You heard that I said to you, ‘I go away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because I go to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

Jesus returns to where He started - “let not your heart be troubled…nor let it be fearful.”
How?
Why?
Because Jesus left them with peace.
Jesus gave them peace.
He does likewise with us.

Have not peace?
Examine yourself.
If you truly be of the faith, then you have the peace of the Lord within…the Spirit.
Quench not the Spirit and peace will reign.
If you are not of the faith, then peace is not there, only the soulish emotions of the flesh.
Only the “peace” of the world that leaves one in “pieces”.

Jesus calls them to rejoice.
So should we.
Why?
Because of what He had told them.
He was going away.
He would return.
Those who love Him will rejoice in this because He went to Father.
Father is greater.

Jesus lived, died and rose again from death that we might be able to be brought into correct relationship with Father.

The Divine Mystery of Father/Son/Spirit working to redeem a rebellious creation.
All by love.

Rejoice!
