“Go. Face Them”

Blessings folk!

A great, encouraging truth of the Lord.
The battle is not ours.
The battle is the Lord’s!

Jahaziel continued to speak the Word of the Lord…

2 Ch 20:15
and he said,
“Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat:
thus says the LORD to you,
‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude,
for the battle is not yours but God’s.

Do not fear.
Do not be dismayed.
The battle is the Lord’s.

The Lord then tells them what to do…

2 Ch 20:16-17
‘Tomorrow go down against them.
Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz,
and you will find them at the end of the valley in front of the wilderness of Jeruel.

‘You need not fight in this battle;
station yourselves,
stand and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’
Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the LORD is with you.”

They, the people, were to go tomorrow.
They were to “go down against them”.
Against the enemy.
The Lord told them exactly where to go.

But, in “going” they would not fight.

What were they to do?
Station themselves.
Stand.
See the salvation of the Lord.

We see the same in Ephesians…to stand firm, stand strong.

We are called to “station ourselves” in the Lord.
We are called to “stand firm”.
We are to stand/rest in the salvation of the Lord.

The Lord then exhorts them again…
Do not fear!
Do not be dismayed.
Tomorrow, go face them.
The Lord is with you.

He is saying the same to us.
Fear not!
Face all things in the truth that the Lord is with us!
Station!
Stand!
See!
