“Forever…”

Blessings folk!

Today we encounter a word that we take for granted.
It appears often in the Word.
We know what it means, yet, we rarely think through the ramifications.

Forever...

Psalm 119:142-144
142 Your righteousness is righteous forever,
    and your law is true.
143 Trouble and anguish have found me out,
but your commandments are my delight.
144 Your testimonies are righteous forever;
give me understanding that I may live.

The Lord’s Law if true.
The Lord’s commandments are the delight of the Psalmist.

The Lord’s Law, commandments, testimonies, etc. are righteous...forever.

Though trouble and anguish may find us, as they did the Psalmist, we can delight in the everlasting Word of the Lord.

Forever
This is “how long” the Righteousness of the Lord exist.

Forever
The length of time that the Word of the Lord will prevail.

Give close attention to the Word “forever” in the Scripture.
Much clarity will be gained and gleaned.

Many of the divisions in understandings in the Body of Christ arise among us because we do not pay attention to the Word “forever”.

God’s covenant with Israel is forever...that gives insight into what occurs with Israel now and the last days.

The Lord tells us about “new heaven” and “new earth” that are forever. That has some interesting connotations.
We are kept in the Lord, forever.

Rejoice!
And watch “forever” in the Scripture…
