“September 11, 3 B.C.”

“September 11, 3 B.C.”

Blessings folk!

Ah!
’Tis the day that we celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus.
His “coming again the first time”.
It is fine to celebrate, though we are not told directly in the Word to do so.

It is better to anticipate/celebrate His return.
We are told to do that.

2 Pe 3:11-13

Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way,
it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness

as you wait for the day of God and hasten its coming.
Because of that day, the heavens will be dissolved with fire and the elements will melt with heat.

But based on his promise,
we wait for new heavens and a new earth,
where righteousness dwells.

We wait for the new heavens and the new earth.
We wait for the day of God.
We hasten the coming of the day of God.
How?
Holy conduct.
Godliness.

That is interesting.

One last thing.

We know that Jesus was not born on December 25.
Why the celebration on that day?
Likely several reasons…
- the Magi visited that time of year
- the “christianization” of pagan celebrations (Saturnalia, et. al.)
- etc. etc.

I believe we do know the exact date/year of His birth.

Is it necessary to know such?
No.

But remember what the Lord said.

Pro 25:2
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

Though not overtly stated, such things can be searched out.

Jesus was born on September 11, 3 B.C.

Want to know the details.

These are worth your time…

(You can read and/or listen to the book.)

Blessed, blessed “Holy-day” of the Lord.

Remember, in the same way that the Lord fulfilled every prophetic Word related to His coming the first time, He will do so with His coming again.

Make haste.
Be ready.
Be prepared.
The Lord has told us to do so.
He has warned us.

Selah!
