“Impart”

Blessing folk!

Paul stated that they had come…
- with flattering speech
- with greed
- seeking glory

How then, did they come?
How did they live?

1Th 2:7-8
But we proved to be gentle among you,
as a nursing mother tenderly cares for her own children.

Having so fond an affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us.

They were gentle with the Thessalonians

Gentle…
- in presenting the gospel
- in teaching
- in encouraging
- in exhortation

As gentle as a mother caring for her own children.

They had fond affection for the Thessalonians.

They considered them to be “very dear to us”.

To what point?

To the point that they were “well-pleased” to impart their lives to them.

This is the greases thing that we have.
Our lives.
Our time.

No greater gift can be given.

To what are you giving your time?

To what are you giving your life?
