1 Th 4:15
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord,
that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord,
will not precede those who have fallen asleep.

Those who have gone ahead into glory - preceded - us will receive their glorified body before us.

Those alive will be raptured - snatched away - to be with the Lord.

Paul explains some detail…

1 Th 4:16-17
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God,
and the dead in Christ will rise first.

Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.

The bodies of the dead in Christ will rise first.
When the Lord Himself descends from heaven.
With a shout.
With the voice of the archangel.
With the trumpet of God.

Interesting!

Those who are alive will be caught up together with them…dead in Christ…and will meet the Lord in the air!

Whoa!

So we shall always be with the Lord.
