“Lies Increase”
“Lies Increase”
Blessings folk!
Too many true believers believe the lies of the enemy through the world.
Where is discerning/distinguishing of spirits?
12:10
and to another the effecting of miracles,
and to another prophecy,
and to another the distinguishing of spirits,
to another various kinds of tongues,
and to another the interpretation of tongues.
Where is seeking of the Lord?
Mat 6:33
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
and all these things will be provided to you.
Where is illumination and enlightenment of the Spirit?
We are entering into another time of heightened lie and deception.
It is by design
Lies for an agenda.
Lies to cover agenda.
Lies to kill, steal and destroy.
Lies to hide the truth.
Come on folk!
Walk in the Spirit.
Have some sense in the Spirit.
Do not just automatically believe something because some “official” or flip-flopping letter agency states it.
My default position is “if the world is saying it, it is likely deception, lie, etc.”.
Seek the Mind of the Lord.
Not the mind of man.
Otherwise, you will be deceived and rendered powerless for the Kingdom.
Quit rejecting the empowerment of the Lord…all of it.
Walk in His Power.
Psa 119:66
Teach me good discernment and knowledge,
For I believe in Your commandments.
Phl 1:9
And this I pray,
that your love may overflow still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,
“Now Is the Time”
“Now Is the Time”
Blessings folk!
True Believers.
Now is the time!
Now is the time to live in Power.
Now is the time to awaken from our sleep…
Rom 13:11
Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we first believed.
Now is the time to be the voice of God…
John 5:25
“Truly, truly, I say to you, a time is coming and even now has arrived,
when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
Now is the time to worship Father in Spirit.
Now is the time to worship Father in Truth.
John 4:23
“But a time is coming, and even now has arrived, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
Now is the time to set aside “religion”.
Now is the time to toss the “cutesy-ness” found in so many religious gatherings.
Now is the time to depend totally and unequivocally upon the Lord.
Worship in Spirit and Truth.
Live in the Power of the Lord.
Be obedient.
Watch what God does.
John 14:12
“Truly, truly I say to you, the one who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also;
and greater works than these he will do; because I am going to the Father.
Mat 10:7-8
“And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’
“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy, cast out demons.
Freely you received, freely give.
Preach the Kingdom.
Heal the sick.
Raise the dead.
Cleanse the leprous.
Cast out demons

Blessings folk!
Lies are on the increase.
Fear is increasing.
The Body of Christ must walk in wisdom and revelation from the Lord lest we be deceived.
Many are already deceived.
They place more trust in man and his devices than they do in the Most High God.
Many will pay dearly for this.
They will gain an early entry into eternity.
I can not emphasize this enough.
We must take everything before the Lord.
Everything.
Do not walk in fear.
Do not walk in anxiety.
Do not believe the world.
Seek the wisdom of the Lord.
Seek the revelation of the Lord.
Seek the illumination of the Lord.
Seek the enlightenment of the Lord.
Your corporeal existence depends upon such.
Eph 1:15-19
For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints,
do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers;
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
and what is the boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe.
God will give a spirit of wisdom.
God will give revelation in the knowledge of Him.
God will give enlightenment.
God will give hope.
God will give a rich inheritance.
God will give His boundless power to us who believe.
Do you believe?
Really believe?

Psalm 91.
Is the Lord your Refuge?
Is the Lord your Shelter?
Do you dwell with the Lord?
Do you trust Him?
Do you turn fear over to Him?
Do you love Him?
Do you know Him by name?
Do you call upon Him?
Read the last verses of Psalm 91.
Look at what the Lord does for us…if…
Psa 91:14-16
“Because he has loved Me, I will save him;
I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.
“He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
“I will satisfy him with a long life,
And show him My salvation.”
Because you love the Lord…
He will save you!
He will set you securely on high!
Because you have known His name…you truly know Him.
Because you call upon the Lord…
He will answer you.
He will be with you in trouble.
He will rescue you.
He will honor you…think on that one!
The Lord will satisfy with long life.
The Lord will show His salvation…
To those who love Him.
To those who rest in Him.
To those who call upon Him.
Why do we waste our time in any other way…?

“Lion, Cobra, Dragon!”
Blessings folk!
We looked at verses 11-12 of Psalm 91 previously.
Now, read with 13…
Psa 91:11-13
For He will give His angels orders concerning you,
To protect you in all your ways.
On their hands they will lift you up,
So that you do not strike your foot against a stone.
You will walk upon the lion and cobra,
You will trample the young lion and the serpent.
NASB
Another version…
Psa 91:11-13
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:
the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Dragon tramplers huh?
Fear not!
The Lord is with us!
He has given His angels charge over us.
We are victorious!

Psalm 91 prophesies and foreshadows many things in the life of the coming Messiah - Jesus.
We see that the Lord is our Refuge and our Fortress.
Jesus knew this.
We continue…
Psa 91:11-12
For He will give His angels orders concerning you,
To protect you in all your ways.
On their hands they will lift you up,
So that you do not strike your foot against a stone.
The Lord watches over us.
His angels have orders from Him concerning us.
Jesus had the same.
His angels will lift us up.
They protect.
Sound familiar?
Mat 4:5-6
Then the devil took Him along into the holy city
and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple,
and he said to Him,
“If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written:
‘HE WILL GIVE HIS ANGELS ORDERS CONCERNING YOU’;
and
‘ON THEIR HANDS THEY WILL LIFT YOU UP,
SO THAT YOU DO NOT STRIKE YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE.’”
Yep!
The devil quoted this passage to Jesus!
Jesus knows these truths.
Jesus had angels that were ordered by God.
Consider “what happened to Jesus”.
So, did the angels “fail”?
Of course not.
Jesus was protected by God.
Believers are also.
Sometimes we incorrectly believe that if we undergo trials, tribulation or persecution that we are “outside” of the protection of God.
No.
He is our Rock.
He is our Refuge.
He is our Shield.
He is our Strength.
Fear not!
By the way, did you note the strategy of the devil?
He questioned the Word of the Lord…”if you are the Son of God”.
Same thing he did in the garden.
Same thing he does with us.

There really is much more to Psalm 91 than we have covered in this format. Much more.
You might have seen a hint of some things in vss 8-9 yesterday. Now, read the next verses...
Psa 91:10-11 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Any questions? Sound familiar? Does this apply to us as Believers? Is it saying something more? Is it saying many things at many levels for many times?
Perhaps you recall these words...
Mat 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

The Lord is the Refuge and Fortress to every true Believer.
He protects.
He avenges.
Because of this, we are not to fear.
We fear not terror, arrow, plague nor destruction.
Then, the Lord says this…
Psa 91:7
A thousand may fall at your side
And ten thousand at your right hand,
But it shall not approach you.
This verse is familiar to many, but did we know the context?
Thousands will fall due to terror, arrow, plague and destruction.
But is shall not approach us.
Psa 91:8
You will only look on with your eyes
And see the retaliation against the wicked.
We will look.
We will see the retaliation/revenge of the Lord.
Do you believe?
Are you ready?
Hear me carefully here.
I believe we are entering into a time when the Body of Christ will be the only source of healing - spiritual and physical.

A Psalm of trust.
A Psalm for difficult times.
The Lord is our fortress.
The Lord is our refuge.
Now…
Psa 91:3-4
For it is He who rescues you from the net of the trapper
And from the deadly plague.
He will cover you with His pinions,
And under His wings you may take refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and wall.
These verses reveal two things that the Lord does for those who trust Him.
He rescues us.
He covers us.
He rescues us from those who seek to set traps for us.
He rescues us from the deadly plague.
A great word for us today.
We are experiencing a trap of deadly plague…yeh, intentional.
The Lord rescues.
He covers us.
With His pinions…under His “wing”.
We take refuge under His wing of protection…if we believe…if we trust.
Know this!
His faithfulness is a shield.
His faithfulness is a wall.
He will never forsake His people.
He will uphold and rescue us.
He will protect.

Previously we read Psalm 91.
Now, let us look closely.
What do we learn from verse 1-2?
Psalm 91:1-2
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”
Think on verse one.
The one who dwells in the shelter of the Most High…
Have you chosen to do this?
Do you dwell in the shelter of the Lord?
Or, do you dwell in the “shelter” and fear of self and man?
There is promise.
If we dwell in His shelter, then we will abide in the shadow fo the Almighty.
We will abide.
We will dwell.
We will live in HIs shadow…His Presence…His shelter.
This is a must-needed Word for today.
Then verse two.
The declarative statement of the Psalmist.
Can you make this declaration?
Yes, you can.
Will you?
That is another matter.
Have you?
Do so…now.
Note it is said “to the Lord”.
Not “about the Lord”.
It is a bold declaration acknowledging He is Lord of our lives.
Speak it!

“Lord, You are my fortress”.
“Lord, You are my God”.

Where is your trust?
Let us spend a few days looking at Psalm 91.
This Psalm is pivotal for the days in which we live…as it has been for all days.
For today, simply read the Psalm.
Let the Lord speak to you…
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”
3 For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day;
6 Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.
7 A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand,
But it shall not approach you.
8 You will only look on with your eyes And see the recompense of the wicked.
9 For you have made the LORD, my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place.
10 No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent.
11 For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.
12 They will bear you up in their hands, That you do not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you will trample down.
14 "Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.
15 "He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
16 "With a long life I will satisfy him And let him see My salvation."
Thank the Lord for this truth!

I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you.
For you have upheld my right and my cause, sitting enthroned as the righteous judge.
You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked;
you have blotted out their name for ever and ever.
Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies, you have uprooted their cities;
even the memory of them has perished.
The LORD reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgment.
He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity.

The prophets are examples.
The prophets that spoke in the name of the Lord.
We count them blessed, though they suffered.

Let us look at the entire thought from Colossians 3…
Col 3:12-17
So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,
to which indeed you were called in one body;
and be thankful.
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you,
with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
Remember!
Put on a heart of…
- compassion
- kindness
- humility
- gentleness
- patience
Bear with OneAnother.
Forgive OneAnother.
Put on love.
Then…
Whatever you do…
- in word
- in deed
Do it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let the Word of Christ richly dwell within you.
Let it.

Live it out.
Sing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Beyond all these things put on love,

It is simple.
Believers are empowered to put on love.
We must put on the love the Lord has given.
Love is the perfect bond of unity.
We are unified by definition.
Love is “living-out” of this unity.
Then, “let”…
Let the peace of Christ ruling your heart.
The peace if there.
We are the ones that quench it.
Let peace rule your heart.
We are called to love and peace as One Body.
Lastly, be thankful.
Cease ingratitude.
Give thanks in all things.

Those who are true Believers are the Lord’s.
The fulness of the Godhead dwells within us.
How them should we live, especially related to compassion?
Phl 2:1-2
Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ,
if there is any consolation of love,
if there is any fellowship of the Spirit,
if any affection and compassion,

We are to have the same mind - the Mind of Christ.
We are to maintain the same love - the Love of Christ.
We are united in spirit - the Spirit of Christ.
We have one purpose - the Purpose of Christ.
Live in this encouragement in Christ.

The compassion of the Lord never fails.
His love is without ending.
He is steadfast.
Lam 3:22-24
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;

great is your faithfulness.
“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”
Rom 9:14-16
What shall we say then? There is no injustice with God, is there? May it never be!
For He says to Moses,
“I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I HAVE MERCY,
AND I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON WHOM I HAVE COMPASSION.”
So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs,
but on God who has mercy.
From the steadfast love of the Lord comes His mercy and compassion.
The Lord has mercy on whom He has mercy.
The Lord has compassion on whom He has compassion.
Man does not determine.
The Lord does.
There is no injustice with God.
His love.
His faithfulness.
His mercy.

Not only is Jesus full of compassion, He is compassion.
We might wonder if the Lord cares for us.
Does He know our situation?
Is He willing to do something?
Mar 1:40-41
And a leper came to Jesus, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him,
and saying, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him
and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”
The leper had faith.
He had no doubt that the Lord could heal him.
That does not mean that the Lord “had to” heal him.
This is important.
We are called to heal people.
We are called to pray for their healing.
It is the Lord Who heals.
He decides how and when.
The leper was not playing some emotional game seeking to entrap Jesus.
He was simply stating the facts.
Jesus could heal him, if He were willing.
Jesus did not have to heal him for the leper to continue in belief.
True faith.
Jesus was moved with compassion.
Compassion from the Most High God.
Jesus then did the unthinkable.
He reached out and touched the untouchable.
Jesus declared that He was willing.
Jesus cleansed him.

Mat 20:29-34
As they were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed Him.
And two blind men sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!”
The crowd sternly told them to be quiet, but they cried out all the more,
“Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
And Jesus stopped and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
They said to Him, “Lord, we want our eyes to be opened.”
Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes;
and immediately they regained their sight and followed Him.
A large crowd was following Jesus.
As they went, they passed two blind men sitting by the road.
The blind men cried out “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David”!
A cry of faith!
What was the response of the crowd to this cry of faith?
“Shut up!”
Sadly the same still occurs today.
The Crowd often seeks to suppress the one crying out to the Lord.
The Crowd is embarrassed.
The Crowd wants “everything to be done in order”.
The Crowd wants process, procedure, etc.
The blind men were having nothing to do with it.
They cried out all the more…don’t you love that phrase?!
Jesus stopped.
Then He asked one of the most profound questions in all the Word - “What do you want Me to do for you?”
Think on that.
Do we realize that the Lord might be asking us the same?
To finish the story, the men stated they wanted to see.
The Lord had compassion.
The Lord touched their eyes…physically.
They regain their sight.
They followed Him.
That is pattern of the Kingdom.
Believe! They cried out and called Him Lord.
Ask! Open our eyes!
Receive! What the Lord has for you!
Follow Him!
Why do we “spin our wheels” in fraudulent forms of religion?
Simply learn how the Lord did it…then do.
What do you want the Lord to do for you?
“Compassion. Hungry”
“Compassion. Hungry”
Blessings folk!
Jesus proclaimed the good news of the Kingdom.
Jesus healed the people.
Jesus felt compassion for the people.
Yes, felt.
Mat 15:32
And Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said,
“I feel compassion for the people,
because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat;
and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.”
Jesus knew the people were hungry.
Yet, they stayed.
They desired to be with Him.
He wanted to feed them.
He wanted to strengthen them in the natural through food.
What does He do?
He calls his disciples together and tells them this.
Could He not have brought forth an abundance of food with a Word?
Yes!
Could He not provide ex nihilo - out of nothing,
Yes!.
But, He called his disciples and told them.
Mat 15:33-37
The disciples said to Him,
“Where would we get so many loaves in this desolate place to satisfy such a large crowd?”
And Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?”
And they said, “Seven, and a few small fish.”
And He directed the people to sit down on the ground;
and He took the seven loaves and the fish;
and giving thanks, He broke them and started giving them to the disciples,
and the disciples gave them to the people.
And they all ate and were satisfied, and they picked up what was left over of the broken pieces, seven large baskets full.
The disciples responded as we would.
Defensive.
Fear-filled.
Afraid that the Lord is asking them/us to do something.
The Word tells us in other places that over 4,000 men were fed, in addition to women and children.
Provision motivated by compassion.
Compassion in action.
Let us do so…
“Secluded. Compassion.”
“Secluded. Compassion.”
Blessings folk!
The Lord felt compassion.
Compassion sometimes comes at “inconvenient” times.
Read.
Mat 14:13-14
Now when Jesus heard about John,
He withdrew from there in a boat to a secluded place by Himself;
and when the people heard of this,
they followed Him on foot from the cities.
When He went ashore, He saw a large crowd,
and felt compassion for them and healed their sick.
What had Jesus heard about John?
That John had just been executed. Beheaded.
Notice Jesus’ reaction.
He withdrew from there.
He took a boat.
He went to a secluded place.
By Himself.
He desired to be alone…with Father no doubt.
What happened?
The people heard.
They followed Him to the secluded place.
When He came ashore a large crowd awaited.
Not exactly the seclusion He sought.
He felt compassion for the crowd.
He healed the sick.
Jesus, grieved by the death of John, felt compassion for the people.
He healed.
He pressed on in compassion and love!
So should we.
“Freedom. Liberty”
“Freedom. Liberty”
Blessings folk!
Today is the day that the united states of America celebrates as “independence day”.
(A little true, historical research will bring some interesting facts and questions.)
As a Believer, do not forget.
Do not forget what true liberty is.
Do not forget what true freedom is.
Remember…
2 Co 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
We as Believers are children of God.
We have the freedom of God.
Rom 8:20-21
For the creation was subjected to futility,
not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope
that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
Gal 5:1
It was for freedom that Christ set us free;
therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
1Pe 2:16
Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil,
but use it as bondslaves of God.
We have “freedom of glory”!
Think on that one!
Christ set us free…for freedom!
What are we to do?
Stand firm.
Do not go back into slavery…of the flesh, of sin.
Act as free men.
Do not use freedom as a covering for evil…this is done too often.
Live in your freedom and liberty as a bondslave of God!
“Beseech the Lord”
“Beseech the Lord”

The Lord felt compassion for the people.
He taught them.
He healed them.
He proclaimed the good news of the Kingdom to them.
Still, he overflowed with compassion because they were distressed and dispirited.
Mat 9:35-36
Jesus was going through all the cities and villages,
teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom,
and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them,
because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.
Jesus then told his disciples this…
Mat 9:37-38
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
“Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
Jesus told them the truth.
The harvest is plentiful.
Many are those who are distressed and dispirited.
Many are those who are desiring to hear of the Kingdom.
Yet, the workers are few.
Few are those who seek the true harvest.
Oh, there are some who seek the harvest of the tares, but few that seek the harvest of the Kingdom.
Jesus told them to beseech the Lord, to call upon the Lord, to petition, to request the Lord to send more workers.
Yes Lord!
We so beseech!
Now, go!

“He Felt Compassion”

Recently in preparing some daily “The Word” podcasts (found here https://www.dalemoore.tv) my attention was arrested by a word/phrase.
This happens often.
A word.
Often a familiar word, seems to leap off the page and scream “consider me!”
Sometimes it is a phrase.
Anyway, I try to give attention when this happens.
It happened most recently on the word “compassion”, especially in the context of Jesus.
Let us look at what the Word says.
What was Jesus doing?
Going to the people.
From city to village.
Teaching in their synagogues…”their” synagogues…where they were.
Proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom.
Healing every disease.
Healing every sickness,.
Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them.
Compassion.
A deep moving from within.
Why?
Because they were distressed.
Because they were dispirited.
Because they were “like” sheep without shepherd.
Thus are people today.
Those of the world are distressed and dispirited.
Those professing to be believers are distressed and dispirited.
True Believers are Spirited.
True Believers are Peace-filled.
True Believers trust in the Lord.
What did the Lord do?
We will see that tomorrow.
For today, which are you?
Distressed/dispirited?
Spirited/Peace-filled?
Believers go!
Believers teach!
Believers proclaim!
Believers heal!
Believers watch!
Perhaps the compassion of the Lord will be released within/upon you…
“Know the Scripture"
“Know the Scripture"
Blessings folk!
Mar 12:24
Jesus said to them,
“Is this not the reason you are wrong,
because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God?
Mat 22:29
But Jesus answered them,
“You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God.
How can we “know the Scriptures”?
We are blessed to have multitudes of ways today.
The problem is that we do not seize the moments.
We do not receive the blessing of the Lord.
So, allow me to suggest…
Listen to the Word.
This is the way that the Word was communicated and transmitted for millennia.
Listen as you drive, do tasks, etc.
Use a phone - https://www.faithcomesbyhearing.com/audio-bible-resources/bible-is
Use a computer/tablet - https://www.blueletterbible.org/
Read the Word.
We are blessed as a people to be able to read.
Such has not always been.
Use a physical Bible - I like the NASB and ESV translations. Others are fine.
Use a digital resource.

Take a hiatus away from man’s interpretation.
Most people listen to other’s teaching, preaching, etc.
They think they are getting the Word.
I’m amazed at how often I’m told “the preacher really brought the Word today”, when, upon listening, what was really spoke was some agenda with a pretext of Scripture.
Here is a harsh reality.
Many “preachers” do not preach/teach the Word of God.
They tickle ears.
2 Ti 4:3-4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,
and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.
They manipulate.
Jude speaks of them.
Pay attention.
Listen.
Ask the Lord to give discernment.
Listen to the Word.
Read the Word.
Take it in.
Think on it.
Ask the Lord to give you understanding.
He will.
Know the Scripture!
Know the Lord!
Live the Lord!
