1 Ch 28:11-12

Then David gave to his son Solomon the plan of the porch of the temple, its buildings, its storehouses, its upper rooms, its inner rooms and the room for the mercy seat;

and the plan of all that he had in mind, for the courts of the house of the LORD,
and for all the surrounding rooms, for the storehouses of the house of God and for the storehouses of the dedicated things;

David/the Lord continue with more detail…all he had in mind.

Then…

1 Ch 28:19

“All this,” said David, “the LORD made me understand in writing by His hand upon me,
all the details of this pattern.”

Wow.
The Lord had given David understanding as to how to build the Temple.
He gave Him this understanding by His hand upon David as David was writing.
All the detail.
All the pattern.

Now, Solomon had it and was to execute.

This was his work.

But again, David exhorts!

1 Ch 28:20

Then David said to his son Solomon,
“Be strong and courageous, and act;
do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God, my God, is with you.
He will not fail you nor forsake you
until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.

Know that this truth is for us and that which the Lord is calling us to build - His Kingdom.

Be strong!
Be courageous.
Act!
Do not fear!
Do not be dismayed!

Why?

Because the Lord God is with us!
He will not fail us!
He will not forsake us!

Until all our work is done and we see Him face-to-face!
