“Peace”

Today’s reading:

Matthew 10:34-36
Luke 12:51-53

Know this.
When one calls upon the Name of the Lord in repentance and confession unto salvation, a peace that passes understanding occurs.

But also know this.

The Lord did not come to bring peace to the earth.
There will be conflict.
There will be strife.
It will begin at home

Faith in Jesus brings division.

What is the division?

Division between true Faith and true Belief and false faith/belief.

Be not shocked if you suffer for the name of Christ.
We have been promised such.

Do not be surprised if it begins with your household...even those who profess to be of the “household of faith”.
