“Fair Daughters”

Blessings folk!

The Lord granted Job a double-portion of what he had lost.

The Lord provided a double-portion of all the livestock.

The Lord provided a double-portion of children.
Job had lost ten children.
He now had ten more.
He had a double-portion.
One portion awaiting in eternity.
Another with him on earth.

Job had seven more sons and three more daughters.

Job 42:13-17

He had seven sons and three daughters.

He named the first Jemimah, and the second Keziah, and the third Keren-happuch.

In all the land no women were found so fair as Job’s daughters;
and their father gave them inheritance among their brothers.

After this, Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons and his grandsons, four generations.

And Job died, an old man and full of days.


Job’s daughters were beautiful beyond all.
Job gave his daughters an equal portion of inheritance with their brothers - a rare thing.

Job lived a long, fruitful life.
Sons.
Grandsons.
Daughters.
Granddaughters.
To the fourth generation.

He died old.
He died full of days.
He died fulfilled.
